MyFundedPerps is now on Tradesyncer. You can copy trades across your MyFundedPerps accounts from the same dashboard you already use for futures, and perps copy trading is included in all Tradesyncer plans. No extra subscription needed.
MyFundedPerps is the first prop firm we're bringing to everyone on Tradesyncer for perps copy trading, and it's just the beginning. Our goal is simple: one trade copier for your futures and perps accounts, so you can run more accounts and scale your trading from one place.
Why perps, and why now
Perps didn't come from a roadmap meeting. They came from you.
Across all the requests we get from our community, perps came up again and again, from traders and from partners. So we listened, and we started building.
There's also a clear pattern in how people trade. Futures markets close on the weekend. Perpetual futures don't. On many venues, crypto perps trade around the clock, seven days a week.
So when Friday's close comes, a lot of traders don't stop. They move to other markets and keep going on Saturday and Sunday. Futures during the week, perps on the weekend.
Until now that meant two separate setups, and copying perps trades across several accounts by hand. That's slow, and every manual order is a chance to make a mistake.
Now you can do both from Tradesyncer.
Tested in Tradesyncer Lab first
Before perps copy trading reached everyone, it went through Tradesyncer Lab.
The Lab is our closed Discord community where members get early access to new products, test them, share feedback and make feature requests. It's where we build Tradesyncer together with the traders who use it.
Perps copy trading was the first product we launched there in October, starting with Vest Capital.
The copy engine itself was the same one Tradesyncer traders already rely on for futures. What was new was the market, so Lab members helped us shape how perps copy trading should work before we opened it up more widely.
With MyFundedPerps, perps copy trading moves out of the Lab and becomes available to everyone, included in every plan.
The Lab isn't done either. New products and markets will keep landing there first.
If you want to follow what we test next, or tell us what you'd like to see, join the Tradesyncer Lab.
How perps copy trading works
If you've used Tradesyncer for futures, nothing here will feel new.
You place a trade on one leader account, and every follower in your copy group mirrors it. Sizing and risk are set per follower, so each account trades on its own terms.
Because Tradesyncer runs in the cloud, there's nothing to keep running on your computer. Your futures setup stays as it is. Perps are an extra option, not a change to how you already trade.
MyFundedPerps is the first integration, and it's just the beginning. We'll keep adding more as we go.
Always check each prop firm's rules on copy trading before you connect accounts.
Let's talk about leverage
Perps come with leverage, and it's worth being honest about what that means.
Leverage lets you control a bigger position than your own capital would normally allow. That cuts both ways. A small move in your favour becomes a bigger gain, and a small move against you becomes a bigger loss.
With high leverage, a sharp move can wipe out an account in minutes.
Here's something that doesn't get said often enough: copy trading can multiply your total exposure too.
When you copy one trade to five accounts, you aren't taking one position. You're taking five. Your combined exposure, and your potential loss across those accounts, grows with every follower you add.
That's not technically the same as using leverage within an account, but the principle of managing greater exposure is familiar to traders who already copy across multiple accounts.
What is different is how easy it is to get started.
Perps are quick to set up and very accessible. You can open an account and place a leveraged trade in a few minutes.
That low threshold is part of what makes perps attractive, but it also makes it easy to take on more risk than you planned, even without a copier involved.
Add copy trading on top, and that risk can spread across every follower.
That's why we'd rather say it plainly than leave it in the small print.
A few habits that help
You don't need a complicated plan, but a few basics go a long way.
Start small. Test your copy group with modest sizes before you scale up, and get used to how perps move compared to the futures markets you know.
Set your risk per account. Use the per-follower sizing and risk settings so one bad trade doesn't hit every account at full size.
Know the rules. Leverage limits, margin, trading hours and copy trading policies differ per firm and per market. Read them before you connect.
Watch the weekend. Markets keep moving while you're away from your screen. If you hold positions over the weekend, make sure your risk is set up for it.
Futures and perps, one copier
Futures traders made Tradesyncer what it is, and that doesn't change.
What changes is that you no longer need a separate setup when the markets you trade expand.
Whether you trade futures during the week, perps on the weekend, or both at the same time, you can manage it all from one place.
Perps copy trading is live now with MyFundedPerps and included in all Tradesyncer plans. More integrations are on the way.
